Got the old man and tiger retopo’d and posed in maya. Started setting up the scene for the old man, but Im going to continue on to the donkey and samurai to get the scene set ups done all at once.

Working on the samurai and the donkey, here’s some quick screen shots from Maya of the donkey. I’ve gotten him all retopo’d and UV’d, put him in Maya with some place holder textures to see how he looks overall before posing. Moving onto the samurai next!

After an eventful few days, I was finally able to get this dude bro into Maya! Once again, placeholder textures to see how to colors looked over all, screenshot from Maya. Up next is to give him some proper textures and then get him posed with the donkey.

Because I’ve been slacking off a bit lately, I’ve decided to start doing accountability posts on Sunday and Wednesday. So here she is, Commander Dank! This is a project I recently started working on with the help from Josh Singh. Wednesday update! Because I will be painting the commander tonight at the show, I decided to go back to my tiger scene and do a bit more scene setup and lighting. Here’s a quick IPR render!test01.jpgsetup_test.jpg

I got to participate in the RAW Orlando art show last night, and it was pretty sweet! I got to meet some amazing artists and network quite a bit. I had a small table that I was doing a live painting demo with the CMD, and here are the results from that! Another quick IPR render! Finally got the lighting done for the lil’ guy, Ill be moving back to the CMD for the next update, but this bub will be periodically be making appearances as I find the timelighting.jpg

Now that Im out of my DayQuil coma, time for a Sunday update! Starting retopo so I can move into substance designer to make some schnazzy textures and renders

Sunday update! Got UVs layed out and grouped, now comes the process of tweaking the low poly, projecting details, and making the normals. First group is almost done!

Holy Guacamole! Had an uphill battle with this today, from program issues to hiccups in various maps (some of which still clearly need fixing lol) but Im calling today a victory! Got her into substance, put a basic material on, and got some nice working renders. Stay tuned for more!
