Hey guys! This was an illustration made at Notan Studio for a campaign to conscientize about the use of plastic straws. The idea was to represent the impact that plastic have on the pollution of our oceans, Y&R Brazil was the agency behind this great idea made for a NGO called Mar sem fim
I used zbrush to model all elements and to make a base for the textures

Aside from the fact that it takes several hundreds of years for certain types of plastic to decompose but what it does to the marine life is beyond belief . Any campaign to bring awareness is welcome

I love the story behing this, its very important for me more and more to present art that has purpose to what is going in our world. They say in 50 years there will be more plastic than fish in the water… Reeally great work, looked at first like an alien brain but than I noticed it was fish
